Soles Walks for Catholic Education

(Photo by Tim Townsend) p All Saints Catholic School participated in the 2021 Soles for Catholic Education Walk by hav- ing students participate the week of Oct. 11 in their Physical Education classes. Each class also created a poster which incorporated our 2021-22 school year theme: Be Strong, Be Courageous, Be Kind. The school also sponsored a Crazy Sock day in which students could bring in $1 and wear their favorite/crazy socks and support the walk at the same time. Teachers and staffalso took time that week to walk during their staffmeeting time after dismissal. As a school, they sur- passed their goal of $10,000 and raised $11,175 to be used to help fund new Chromebooks, tablets and operating system licenses. (Submitted photo) p Siena Schools of Racine held its initial local Soles Walk for Catholic Education in October. The Racine Dominicans allowed them to walk loops around their campus.
